May Day
May Day (May 1st) is an historic day for workers across Canada and the world. D4 and OSSTF has teamed up with the North Bay and District Labour Council and the Ontario Federation of Labour to host dozens of events across the province on May Day. The North Bay and District Labour Council will be hosting a rally style event Sunday, May 1.
People will gather at 12:30 at North Bay City Hall to get organized to march to MPP Fedeli’s Main Street office for a big rally, where we’ll hear from guest speakers and do some popular rally chants! Following the rally, participants will walk to the North Bay Museum, where we’ll hear from election candidates and eat some food provided by the Labour Council.
